First LCD screen monitor, besides a laptop. Purchased for a desktop system I built, and to replace a 19" "flat screen" CRT I used for an Xbox.
Coming from a CRT for an Xbox, the screen real estate is a good deal larger. An Xbox contains a letterbox in the CRT screen even if set to normal display, and on this LCD, it takes up the entire screen display, and game look much better now, and much bigger.
Remember, the screen is glossy, meaning it will reflect bright light and sharp reflections, especially if the background color on the screen is black, but the displayed colors are still great, just not as expensive as the non-reflecting screens.
Only drawback I would say is that the stand is not adjustable. I plan on building a home made stand for it so I can adjust it.
